CAMO Manager

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic CAMO Management & Compliance: Effectively manage the CAMO organization, ensuring all relevant approvals (e.g., Part-CAMO, IOSA) remain valid and that engineering, planning, and continuing airworthiness activities align with company strategies and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Communication & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for non-routine technical questions and discrepancies, maintaining effective communication with subcontractors, contractors, regulatory authorities, OEMs, MROs, suppliers, and clients.
  • Processes Development & Integration: Ensure the development and effective implementation of processes and procedures throughout the organization, with a focus on integrating activities with subcontracted Part-CAMO operations.
  • Project Management & Budget Control: Oversee project management activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to deadlines, while participating in budget preparation and controlling costs effectively.
  • Contract Preparation & Negotiations: Contribute to the preparation and negotiation of relevant agreements, ensuring that contractual obligations meet the organization's interests and regulatory standards.
  • Safety, Quality Assurance & Base Maintenance Supervision: Implement and monitor safety and quality assurance measures across the organization, while supervising base maintenance to uphold high operational standards.
We expect You to have:
  • Experience & Expertise: At least 3 years of hands-on CAMO activities, including formalized training and experience in continuing airworthiness management of Airbus A320 Family and/or Boeing 737 aircraft.
  • Regulatory & Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of EASA Part CAMO/145, maintenance methods, and the ability to understand, interpret, and apply regulatory requirements and workplace agreements.
  • Safety & Quality Management: Well-versed in Safety Management Systems, Quality Systems, auditing processes, and possesses an understanding of risk management.
  • Educational Background: Holds a university degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Avionic, or another field relevant to aircraft or component maintenance.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrates fluent spoken and written English, ensuring effective communication in a multicultural environment.
  • Desirable Qualification: Familiarity with IOSA regulations is considered an asset.
