Junior Flight Support Duty Officer

Intro
Join our team as a Flight Support Duty Officer and play a vital role in coordinating and supporting daily flight operations. You’ll monitor flights in real time, manage aircraft and crew utilization, and respond to operational changes while always prioritizing safety and efficiency. This role requires the ability to work on a shift basis (12-hour day or night shifts, 4 workdays on/4 days off, with flexibility to adjust schedules in agreement with colleagues), along with strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage, coordinate and monitor daily airline’s flight activities
  • Utilize the aircraft fleet in relation to timetable, crew composition and technical availability 
  • Delay, initiate additional flight or consolidate flights, taking into consideration flight safety, aircraft and crew limitations, weather conditions, economic expedience etc.
  • Provide Navigation and Flight support of daily flights
  • Execute actual flights, CTOT coordination with Central Flow Management Unit if required in order to provide flights regularity
  • Collect information related to daily flight operation and disseminate it to other Company departments
  • Assist crew in an emergency by providing any assistance necessary to ensure safe completion of the flight. 
We expect You to have:
  • Experience in a similar role within the aviation industry, as well as understanding of flight operations and regulations (considered as an advantage)
  • Higher Education in the aviation field (advantage)
  • Proficiency in both Lithuanian and English languages
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere, displaying excellent stress resistance and adaptability.
